15th, 2002: Magic Kingdom
On February
15th, 2002 we got up bright and early for a fun filled day
in the Magic Kingdom. We put on our red t-shirts for the event,
like everyone did, and off we went. Even though we had to
wait an hour in front of the castle, it was fun to see everyone.
We took a few pictures, including this one above of Nicky
with Ian and Hunter, who both have the same form of EB as
Nicky. Hunter and Nicky started rough playing in their own
gentle way, and it was a pretty hilarious thing to see.
After we waited
in front of the Cinderella Castle to take a group picture,
we were free to do as we pleased, so we let Nicky decided
(well... for the most part) what we were going to do. Above
you see a picture of Nicky in front of the Cinderella Castle
with Corey on the right, and Alex on the left, 2 siblings
that came from Northern California with their sisters and
dad. On the right, Nicky with Pooh. There is actually quite
a heartwarming story on how we only had to wait in line to
see one of the characters, but then the Disney crew would
not let Nicky wait in any other line and patched us through
to see all the other characters with no waiting! Nicky got
a lot of cute pictures taken (not to mention the autographs)
of Pooh, Tigger and Eeore, Minnie Mouse, Chip and Dale, Cinderella
and Suzie, and everyone's favorite: Mickey Mouse.
The first ride
we took Nicky on was Dumbo, and he just loved it. Loved it
so much that later in the day we had to go back on it again
upon his insistence! We also took rides on Pooh, Small World
and Peter Pan, along with the Tea Cups and the Merry Go Round.
Nicky loved all of these in FantasyLand. We then walked over
to go on to the Pirates of Caribbean and the Hunted House
(we cannot go to the Magic Kingdom without going on those
rides!) and even though Nicky was not too fond of those, he
was a trooper and tug along with it, as long as mommy hugged
him all the way... ha ha... I had NO PROBLEM doing that!
Some of the
other rides we were able to get on were the Magic Carpet and
Buzz Lightyear. Nicky loved both and wanted to go again and
again on all of them!

SeaWorld
Some may
own castles on the banks of the Rhine,
and hire an orchestra each morning at nine.
But richer than I they will never be...
I had a mom who made Web pages for me!
