Connor's official 4 year old picture - September 2007

Connor
is doing great and he's such a funny loving kid
full of energy!
He's talking quite a bit nowadays, his vocabulary
is expanding by the minute, he says many
sentences and his
pronounciation is improving.
I know he's probably a bit behind than other kids
his age but at this point I am not worried. If he
does not improve dramatically in the next year or
so before he enters kindergarten, then I know he
will need some speech therapy. My nephew was also
slow in the speech but now at 5 he is talking up
a storm, so we'll see.
Last time
I put him on my scale he weighed 35lb, he is
about 40 inches tall and his head circ. 60 in. A
proportionate kid with a big head, LOL.
He's still our little tornado!! No room
in the house is safe. We are limiting the amount
of toys we have out, most of them are
in the garage and we rotate them, otherwise they
would be all over the house. It's not that he likes
to play with them per se, he just empties the
box, that's what he likes to do, ugh! The latest
thing is blankets! He loves blankets and takes
them with him everywhere! He reminds me of
Linus, only with more than one blanket.
We basically feed him what
we eat... it
could be pasta, bread, mashed potatoes, chicken nuggets,
chicken, fish, green beans (he loves them!!),
rice, cheese, crackers, hot dogs and the like. He truly loves to feed
himself all kinds of finger foods, such as
Goldfish, Cheerios, Crackers and Cookies. His
new favorite food is peanut butter sandwich! He
asks for it by name. Connor never had a pacifier and
never sucked his thumb, but
he does carry around
his juice/milk bottle everywhere he goes!
Connor is
a snuggle bug, he loves to hug and be hugged. He's
very keen on physical touch. The great thing about Connor is
that he will not hold a grudge in any way, after 5
minutes he's forgotten everything like nothing
ever happened and comes over for a hug and a kiss.
He's one special little kid!
He goes to
bed about 8-9pm nowadays and
sleeps all night. He wakes up around 6:30-7:00am and comes
to snuggle with mommy and daddy on our bed. He no longer
takes a nap, but on the occasion that he
does, he will then go to sleep with mommy
at 11pm.
Cleaning and
scrubbing can wait till tomorrow,
For babies grow up, much to our sorrow,
So quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep,
I'm rocking my baby, and babies don't keep.
Navigate
this kingdom with the transporter!
