Weekly Commentaries for 2002

sunday, december 29

Here is something I do not get. How can Eric be so incredibly upset over the news that Deacon is Hope's father, and then in the same show, almost 'forgive' Brooke? Brooke can get away with murder, that is for sure. If Taylor would have pulled any stunt like this, Brooke's fans would have been merciless, while Taylor's fans would no longer be Taylor's fans, me included, period. But Brooke's fans have so many excuses for 'poor' Brooke's behavior is honestly quite disgusting. I better hope that Deacon does some serious damage to Brooke's reputation, and that Ridge won't forgive her if and when he ever finds out. Someone has to see this spoiled brat for who she is. I never liked Brooke, and now I am completely disgusted by her.
Other than that this week has been a bit boring. I am beginning to wonder WHEN this fashion show is ever going to happen. Macy and Thorne though, for sure will reunite someway, somehow, I just know it.

saturday, december 21

There were several things on this week's episodes that were quite strange. First, all these scenes of Thorne all of a sudden being upset over Macy's death 2 years from the incident! He was more upset about this than Ridge is over Taylor's death, and Taylor only died a couple of months ago! How quickly he forgot how much he was supposedly hurting, not at all taking in consideration his children's grief, while Throne, 2 years later still extremely agitated over it all of a sudden? Very strange behaviors. I know they have explained it away with the facts that Thorne remembers being in Italy with Macy... but still. The reunion between Thorne and Macy was quite the scene though! I was quite taken by it. I am eager to see how Macy finally decides to leave Portofino and get back to LA and leave Lorenzo. Very strange stuff.
I have to admit, those scenes of Ridge kissing Brooke and having a honeymoon of sorts so soon after Taylor's death are QUITE disturbing, and I was sooooo pleased to see Deacon show up in Italy! I was so happy! Why should Brooke get away with what she's done without a scar? Ridge MUST know about Hope's paternity, and if Deacon is the character I hope and know he is, Brooke is going to have a very rough time getting rid of him, and I hope the truth comes out.
Bridget also annoyed me this week, and I usually really like her-her grilling of Massimo and her attitude talking to him about Brooke and Ridge being soulmates so soon after Taylor's death is revolting. Deacon has to cause trouble, and I hope he will!

I am loving this Italy remote! Even though I have never been to Portofino, I feel right at home watching the show there.
Macy's returned as been explained quite well, WOW! What will the writers come up with next? I am very much looking forward to see how the reunion is going to go. Sally has been so heartbroken over Macy's death that surely this news will be fantastic for her.
But my favorite scene of the week had to have been when Massimo gave Brooke a piece of his mind... I just loved it! I wish I could have taped it so I could have watched it again! Everything he told her was right on the money and described her to a T. Way to go Massimo! I love this character! I heard thru the grapevine that it is during this Italian remote that Bridget finds out somehow the truth about Massimo's being Ridge's father, so I am eager to see how they are going to play this out.
Other than that, I am now hoping that Ridge will find out about Hope and Deacon sometime soon so he can see Brooke for the kind of person she is. Ridge has always been very willing to close an eye about Brooke, and everyne should be able to see her for the kind of person/character she really is.

friday, december 6

This was actually quite a fun week for me to watch, especially Friday's episode! I am stunned and quite delighted they left the Italian Dialogue in without dubbing it or making the Italian actors speak english. Being Italian I understood everything that was said, but it was almost understood what was being said anyway, why translate it and lose that beautiful flair of my mother tongue? I am very pleased.
Sally's airplane trip was extremely amusing as well! I can't wait to see how they actually get to Italy!
...And, what about Brooke making a move on Ridge? Gee, what a surprise. Her 'we're just friends' talk she is feeding everyone is such a line of BS. It seems as if Ridge is letting her though-and Brooke is taking advantage of the fact that he needs support as his wife just died to warm herself into his bed. If he only knew who Hope's dad is he would surely stay away from her-then again, Brooke has excuses for everything, no matter how low she sinks. Blah. I am disliking her character more and MORE as time passes. I am pleased that my mom, who watches the show in Italy feels the same as I do about Brooke. I need to ask my sister if she's still a Brooke's fan after all of this! Common Deacon, get Brooke's secret out of the closet! Let everyone know the kind of person this woman is! That would certainly be a hoot, but will the writers let that happen? Doubtful.
I am very much looking forward to this Macy's storyline now, she sang really quite well in Italian if I do say so myself!!!

monday, december 2

I am not really sure anything actually happened this week... did I miss something? I can't wait for this Portofino storyline to take off with Macy coming back, I am getting bored.
They really need to explore Deacon's character and give him more airtime too... I mean... a word from him and the whole world would find out Brooke's little secret about Hope's paternity, and we can then watch as her little world comes crashing around her. Ridge might have the opportunity to see Brooke for what she really is...
This Tricia character is puzzling to me. Why would the writers write in a character so similar to Taylor? She is a stunning brunette, with a mild tone and a psychologist to boot... hmmm... Taylor #2? Also, amazing that Hunter Tylo would agree to do these 'visions' scenes... whatever. Very strange storyline to say the absolute least.
And Brooke and Ridge are not fooling anyone but themselves looks like. Ohhh... we're just friends... yeah right. Somehow everyone from Thorne to Amber, from Stephanie to even Tricia can see through their charade. Who is really bugging me about it though is Megan-she has the uncanny ability of being completely out of line 100% of the time! I mean... Taylor is dying in the hospital and she has the gulls of telling Brooke about her and Ridge being soulmates!!?? That was sooo wrong! Very poor taste. However, it seems as if at times she's saying things Brooke can't even admit to herself. Hmmm...

friday, november 22

Deacon's character reentrance into the show was classic! Drunk at a bar he happens to run (what are the chances of that?) into Brooke... surprise surprise! I am, for one, happy that he's come back to give Brooke a hard time... honestly, she's gotten away with the having a baby from her daughter's baby WAY too easily! Deacon has 2 children of his being raised by the Forrester's, he should be around. The fact that he's come back with an attitude will make for fun shows to watch-perfect timing, since Sheila's storyline has ended. I am also wondering if the writers will keep the fact that he's Hope's daddy swept under the carpet, like Ridge's paternity issue... however, I found out that someone will find out about Ridge being Massimo's son as soon as next month.. it was about time!!! Good grief, I've been waiting a year for this plot to come through.
Surely there will be someone, somewhere, who will find out by accident about Hope being Deacon's baby... simply because that is how it always happens. A conversation is overheard, a piece of main intercepted... etcetera etcetera... But will it happen? We'll see.
I am also extremely excited about the show always going to Italy! Lake Como, Venice, and now Portofino! Whew! I can't wait to see those shows, also because it will bring back Macy which will surely put Thorne's life back on the front burner of the show. The poor man honestly needs a good storyline!

saturday, november 16

This week was very entertaining! That chance encounter by Mark and CJ calling Clarke dad at the same time was phenomenal! This is the kinds of stuff I watch this soap for! These kind of things are too much fun. They are truly, both, a chip off the old block, they both swore to stay away from Bridget, but both lied. I thought Bridget did the good and smart thing in making them sweep her off her feet ;-) if they really insist in being juvenile... to prove themselves. That's my girl!!.
On another note, Brooke going to bed with that big smile on her face after she talked to Ridge, tells the story louder than she even admits to herself. She is going to be, or wants to be, once again, the girl there at a time of tragedy for Ridge. Like Thorne so eloquently realized and told Tricia, Brooke is always '2nd best', being there when Caroline died, when Taylor was feared dead etc. How naive for Bridget, and even Ridge, not to see this coming a mile away. Stephanie, of course, is 100% on the money, and now she has Massimo on her side helping her fight the good fight to reveal Brooke for what she really is. But Brooke now has no other woman to fight for Ridge's affection, Ridge is vulnerable... of course they are going to bed. But whether that is a good thing or not, remains to be seen. Brooke has never been good for Ridge, and with Thomas hating her, I don't see how she could ever warm herself into Ridge's life without any consequences.
On another note, I heard through the grapevine that FINALLY Macy will be coming back to the show! YEY! I always thought the writers left that 'window' open not by accident, to make her character come back sooner or later. However, if you really think about it, they left no window open for Taylor whatsoever. They even had an open casket ceremony and all, no mistake there, Taylor is dead, not to come back ever. Pity....

sunday, november 10

The events of this week left me wanting MORE! I was happy to see that Stephanie is yet again realizing a few things about Brooke... now that Ridge is grieving and weakened by his emotions of losing someone so important in his life, Brooke, of all people, should stay a mile away from him, considering the past. But... does she? Of course not. She is the first to suggest, or I guess decide that she will do 'everything in her power' to get Ridge back at Forrester, and to go over and offer hugs and hugs... hmmm... Stephanie and Massimo, are, of course, on to her, even if she claims innocence. A newsflash to Brooke... trust is something you GAIN, it is not automatically given. But she, well, her character, always expects others to automatically trust her, despite all the BS she put people through over the years. Stephanie is absolutely, 100% correct in doubting her and be weary of her actions,
Another storyline that caught my attention this week is the Mark/CJ not knowing they are brothers situation. CJ already does not like Mark, he believes he's after Bridget, and he may or may not be right, but he is indeed jealous. How is he going to react once he finds out? At least I can rest assured in the fact that they will find out in the not-so-distant future, while who knows how long we'll have to wait for the Massimo/Ridge paternity situation to come to light... perhaps when we least expect to? There will surely be fireworks when that happens!

saturday, november 2

Well, I told my mom in Italy (since it's her fault I am hooked on this soap, LOL) that they killed off Taylor, and she was in complete and utter SHOCK! LOL! I am still in pretty much of a shock myself, so I am not surprised. This week was just too sad. I have lost someone very dear to me (my child) so some of these scenes came too close for comfort. I actually did not have the strength to watch a couple of shows this week because of it.
I read someone's comment on a board stating that the only real fault that he finds on B&B is that they can only have one or two stories going on at once-which I think is the reason why I had such a hard time watching, since they focused so much on Taylor's death, but I also like the soap for this very same reason, the fact that is 'cozy', it does not get confusing with too many storylines. I used to watch Y&R but in one week's time I counted 17 storylines! Yes, they have that many characters! So... my hope is that this coming week they will focus more on the 'CJ has a brother' thing and make Taylor's death a little less focus. Not that the character of Taylor does not deserve to be mourned, as it clearly does, I just hope it does not drag out too long.
Another storyline waiting in the wings is when Stephanie calls the truce quits with Brooke. Even though I know it won't be for a real reason other than a misunderstanding, I like the idea of Stephanie butting heads with Brooke again. She better not go after Ridge it's all I have to say... and I am pretty sickened that Brooke's secretary is even implying that Ridge is Brooke's Soulmate... ugh. Brooke is whoever's Soulmate that is happening to share her bed! Give me a break.....

saturday, october 26

As surely as many other Taylor fans, I am quite in distress over her character being killed off. At least, however, she left the show and died in a very dignified manner... she wasn't scared, just worried about her family. And what was the most heartbreaking scene of all must be that she died in Ridge's crying arms. I think the writers did a wonderful job in preserving Taylor's spirit even in these heartbreaking circumstances.
Taylor's death will surely give birth to many storylines... from the logical ones, such as Ridge, the kids and everyone that loved Taylor's mourning scenes and ways they find to cope with the death, funeral scenes and related consequences, Ridge is, once again, alone. But this time he has kids and a lot more emotional baggage. Will Brooke go after him again? Or will he be alone for a while? Surely he will be alone for a while, and hopefully the writers will give Thorne a new love interest while Ridge deals with the death of his 2nd wife. We'll see.
In the meantime, I heard through the grapevine that Deacon is coming back to town... good grief. What is he going to be up to now? We'll see-should be interesting, to say the least!

saturday, october 19

It was an amazing week in B&B soapland, with Eric, unknowingly, being at the center of it all. Getting Sheila behind bars was just too much! I did feel sorry for Erica, poor kid, with a mother like that. I hope she leaves and then reappear again in the next few years with her dad while her mom is still in jail. I liked the bit of her refusing her name to be Erica. It would be an interesting plot.
The shooting scene where both Brooke and Taylor get shot had me glued to the screen... in all that slow motion. I felt really sorry for Ridge and what his character will have to endure in the next few weeks. We know that Taylor is going to die, so...
Amber did not redeem herself in my eyes. Immediately after she got home she was snooty to Erica, what a surprise. She does that so well and that what makes me dislike her character so much, that sense of entitlement-it's like everyone owes her everything even though she has done many things in the past to let people down, over and over again. Hopefully there won't be a storyline involving her anytime soon, I feel like personally I need a break from all her drama!!! We certainly had enough in the past several months to last a great while.
I am not sure if anyone noticed, but the surgeon that operated on Taylor is none other than Bridget's new mentor-so surely that will be a storyline in itself, which will be very intriguing!
The character that leaves me baffled now is Massimo. There is no storyline for him, somehow he's involved in everything, and Stephanie, who is supposedly committed to Eric, is still hanging around him... what gives? Will Ridge find out the truth about his dad? If not, what is the purpose of keeping Massimo around?

friday, october 11

Good old Stephanie once again figures things out! LOL! Too funny! I don't know how she does it, but she is always in rescue mode! I like Stephanie, I really do, she is the quintessential mother figure, and even Ridge, who hates everyone, loves and respects his mother, which shows a lot in the way of what the writers think about the different characters. I still hope that Sheila will get away though! She is just too much fun. I will surely miss her when she is gone.
I still think the whole seduction scene by Erica is a bit far fetched. How can she go from goody two shoes to this temptress is quite a leap, however, I feel the writers want to convey that even though her character is basically a good person, she is very much influenced by her mother-or perhaps that the fruit does not fall far from the tree.
What about the Taylor and Ridge's kids!!?? Thomas looked like he was 8 or 9, but REALLY he should be more like 4 or 5 at the most! The twins also should not be older than 3, but on the show now they looked more like 6 or 7. Then again, Erica should be about 5 as well, at most, and here she is a teenager. Ahhh... those fast aging techniques! But.. really, it makes things hard to believe. For example, Rick should be in his early twenties, but that would mean Brooke should be in her mid-forties at least... even older, and she just had a baby? But then again, that also means that Ridge should be close to 50 and his father, Eric, in his mid 70s at least, since they had stated they had him after they graduated from College. I don't think the writers want to really tell us how old these people should be, LOL, as long as the storylines are intriguing... The only kid that hasn't been fastly aged is little Eric, and thank goodness! At least one!

I am really enjoying this Sheila abducting Amber storyline! Kimberlyn Brown is such a phenomenal actress, she truly kept me at the edge of my seat! As bad as she is, I am rooting for her and hoping she will overpower Amber. This does not mean that I hope Erica gets pregnant or saying that I am rooting for Erica at all, just that I like how much of a weirdo Sheila is, and how good she is at it! LOL.
On another note, I am glad that Brooke is turning Eric away-out of respect for Stephanie. But how long Brooke will be man-less? I hope as loooong as humanly possible.

thursday, october 3

Could Brooke really be turning a new leaf? Hmmm... well, at least with Eric I suppose, but what's going to happen when Taylor dies next month? Is she going to go after him again? Something tells me she will, and I honestly wish it didn't, however I heard a rumor regarding a new actress playing Ridge's new love interest, boy, I hope so!
Speaking of Taylor, I guess it's official that she will be killed off, sigh, and according to one of those Soap Opera Magazines, it will be Sheila who will pull the trigger... good GOD! Oh well... This magazine also stated that both Sheila and Erica would exit the soap shortly thereafter, which came as a surprise to me since the writers worked this Erica character in to 'steal' Rick from Amber, but I suppose she is not successful if she'll be gone soon. No actor is safe on this soap except for the main family characters I guess! Spouses are expandable for sure.
On another note, I am, for one, eager to see CJ jealous of this new Dr. Love in Bridget's life. She deserves some happiness! And... now that Stephanie left Massimo, will Ridge finally find out the truth about his biological father? It's a wait and see kinda thing, and I am very eager for this storyline to finally happen!!!

sunday, september 29

This past week was very strange to me. That whole seduction dance by Erica was completely out of character in my view, very strange. And how can Bridget be lovey-dovey with her mother just because she came to her ceremony thing and then she hates her more than before afterwards at the dinner? I am very confused!!! Did I miss something?
Of course we all know that Taylor will be killed off soon. That is too bad. The writers of the show felt that she was too good of a character to do anything with, which proves my point once and for all that she is the kind of person we all should aspire to, a role model. Oh well. Now though, when she does die, she will leave quite a devastation in her wake. Ridge already lost a wife, now two? What about the children? Will Brooke make a play for Ridge again? I hope not, that storyline is soooo old! And what about Amber? Taylor is the only person who is standing by her. This will prove to be interesting!

sly @ 9:59 AM

-------------------------------------------------------------------

sunday, september 22

Good dear Amber shows her colors once again. Some fans on misc. boards think Ridge was out of line... I disagree. I think Ridge, in his own house, can do what he want. Is Amber, who is a guest, that should show respect and stay out of his way. It's not as if she does not know how he feels about her! She must be deaf. She should show respect, if for nobody else, for Taylor's sake, who is the only person who is doing anything for her.
How does she show her respect for Taylor? By intruding and putting eggs in Ridge's suitcase. Trailer trash all the way. No disrespect for the actress, but her character is very easy to hate, and I hope she does not get typecast.
The other character that, once again, showed her true colors this week is Brooke. Answering the door wearing next to nothing, knowing who it was at the door makes her the sl** that she is. I feel for KKL, she could surely get a job getting a character with more depth. Plus, it shows behaviors I would not want my daughter to learn. If those two characters acted like adults sometimes it would make the soap a lot more nicer to watch. Perhaps even appropriate for teenagers.
On to the GOOD storylines! I like the fact that Erica now knows everything about her life and her past. What is she going to do about it? Is she going to look for her daddy? That is what I would do, but in soapland, who knows. I was also quite distraught that her mother told her that she should get pregnant to hold on to Rick!? Oh boy. She is like... what, 16 years old? Poor kid. I am awaiting to see what happens next!

sunday, september 15

Admittedly I haven't watched, or, rather, been able to watch the show the past couple of weeks, but for what I saw it seems as if Erica knows about her mother's connection to the Forrester's now... what, however, still puzzles me is how, if she was such a fan of the family, she did not know anything about it. Ziggy found the info rather quickly at a library computer... hmmm? Other discrepancies that seem too strange for comfort lately are:
1. Didn't Amber remember going to Ziggy's apt complex to buy drugs.. the same complex where both Erica and Lance lived?
2. Didn't Massimo say that Steph and he wrote over the years... and he never saw a picture of Sheila in the tabloids or anything?
3. Wasn't Shelia working double to make ends meet in the east coast and suddenly was able to fly out to CA and not work and have 10G to give Lance?
4. Didn't Rick flip out when Amber had to live with Deacon to get the baby back, and now it's okay if Erica lives there?
5. How come can Rick kiss that college girl and now Erica and it's okay... yet nothing Amber does is ever okay?
I have more, but these are pretty good. Major double standards in the story lines, or conveniently forgotten storylines.
Amber irks me. Rick is not mad at her for the 'last incident', he is mad at her because this is the 'last straw'. Will she ever understand this point? I am not sure. I am actually ready for this love triangle to be over with and the writers to find something interesting for Ridge and Thorne to do.

friday, august 30

I am so impressed with Bridget lately. Her character seem to have truly gained strength. She stood up to CJ for setting her up on the blind date, now her mother... good for her! There is nothing Brooke can do to redeem herself now, whether it is true that Deacon 'seduced' her or not, it takes two to tango, and she is as much responsible for her behavior as Deacon is.
As usual Sheila never lets me down. She entertains me so much. Her character is very enjoyable. How is she going to pull off the dinner invitation by Eric Forrester? My bet is she won't go, but knowing her, somehow I think she will think of something ;-)
And Taylor... really. What a disappointment. She risks Ridge's rage over Amber? Amber? She knows darn well how Ridge feels about Amber, so why didn't she let her use the beach house right off the bat instead of having her over? I guess the writers wanted some nails spitting and a little feud, I can't imagine any other reason. Thankfully they kinda made up right away in the hot tub... which showed they have a very strong relationship afterall. Perhaps that is what the writers wanted to show, the strength of their relationship? We'll see. I will surely stay tuned ;-)

Due to my son's surgery follow-up I have missed a few shows, but it's nice to know that there are sites that tell you what happened. Not that I would go bonkers, but just so I can follow the stories! LOL! The recent Amber events have been entertaining. I don't know why Taylor is even helping her, to be completely honest.
Nice cover up jobs by Sheila! I would expect nothing less from her! So... where is James? Will we see him soon? Everyone is talking about him all of a sudden, Erica and her sob-sob story about her daddy, Taylor and Steph... hmmm... I wonder how and if Erica will find out HE is her daddy ;-)

saturday, august 10

Well, I must say, this new friendship between Stephanie and Brooke is leaving me baffled! I mean... who would have guessed! I do understand Stephanie's motives-to keep an eye on this man eater, but canceling her two-week vacation? She does not even think that Brooke will survive for 2 weeks without her and her help? I actually find that offensive, personally. Brooke is not a new mother, she has plenty of baby-sitters, and the baby is healthy.. and she has all this help. Here I am with a severely disabled child and I do it all by my lonesome... oh well. Some people just have it all, don't they? I know this is just a character and not a real person, however, surely there are real people with too much help for words. But... the result of the cancellation of this vacation will be... what? I bet Massimo will go ahead and tell Ridge he is his daddy. And I will be glued to the TV screen when that happens! LOL
On a different note, I must say, I really enjoyed Sheila's 'sting' operation! Quite an amusing weirdo to say the least! But it kinda ended there without anymore from anyone, so that was strange.
On yet another storyline, I really liked how Bridget stood up to CJ, and I loved seeing him humiliated when he figured that it was her that threw the party for him. But the ending was weird... it's like he was about to kiss her! I tell ya... Brooke would hate to have Sally's son as her son-in-law! That would be a hoot!

monday, july 29

Good old Brooke will never change. The world truly revolves around her. The baby crying while she's talking to Stephanie? Let her cry. It's then only Stephanie that asks... should *I* check on the baby? And while she does, Brooke sneaks out... Brooke, Mother of the Year... NOT! Yet the only thing Brooke fans on assorted boards have to say is that Stephanie has 'no life' anyway and start talking trash about her and Taylor. Hello? Taylor? What does she have to do with anything? Brooke is being selfish Brooke for the umpteenth time. It does not take a blind man to see that. I just hope Bridget will stay mad at her for a looooooong time for betraying her the way she did. Oh well, enough about her, my blood is starting to boil!
Okay... so the question of the day is... now that Amber has left, what kind of line is Forrester going to come up with next now that Ridge is gone and Amber is gone? Whatever happened to Brooke's Bedroom? Are there any designers left in the house? Eric maybe? What is Kristen doing? Thorne was always only involved with shipping and buyers, and they truly need to give this man a love life, he is too gorgeous not to have one, really! But I would hope the writers will leave Brooke ALONE for a looong time. Her love life is just a bit too unnerving to say the least. Stephanie's resentment toward her is 100% justified. Yet, look how she can put all that hatred aside and be there to keep an eye on Brooke so she does not ruin anymore lives. It takes a grown up to do that. And that shows Brooke's childish behavior all these years. Blah!
One last note... how long will Ricky boy will be able to resist Erica? How long do we give him... a week? A month? With Sheila behind... anything is possible!

friday, july 26

The most interesting and fun to watch story of this week had to be Sheila's! I have to admit I did not much care at all about her storyline a few years back but this Amber/Lance thing made it real fun to watch. Will this be the end of Rick's marriage to her? Maybe. Rick is mad because he always forgives her for everything and he's tired of forgiving her. Plus, he's got that 'I am better than my wife' attitude, so that does not help. Do I feel sorry for Amber? Parts of me wants to, but she acts so incredibly cocky when things go well for her, instead of being humble and appreciative, that I almost wish bad stuff to happen to her. None of her bad deeds have thought an ounce of humility to this girl, and I pity her more than I feel sorry for her.
The other storyline I really appreciated this week is showing CJs sensitive side and his grief. I know many might think that since it's been over a year since his losses that he should be 'over' it, but he's acting more like a person struck with grief that Amber ever has... and losing children is the worse loss of all.

What an amusing week last week was! Between the TeleSave stuff and Ridge's let down by Eric and his successful Fashion Show (I wish they would have actually shown the show!) it was a very entertaining week. Yes, TeleSave saved the day, but does that mean that Amber's line will only be sold through TV now since the stores don't want to take a chance in carrying it and prefer Ridge's designs? Their reputation is definitely on the line, no matter how well the TeleSave went. I am actually rooting for Ridge, but I am sad that Eric, as usual, takes Brooke and her kid's side as always. I can't wait for Ridge to find out that Massimo is really his dad so he can write off Eric once and for all as a father figure and continue doing his work at Spectra without worrying too much about revenge. After all he has now truly saved his name-regained the reputation that he lost, and that is part of his battle won. The new face of Forrester has a lot of proving to do in regaining the buyer's confidence and show they can compete with Ridge's talent. We'll see what happens.
In the meantime, I am surprisingly really enjoying this Sheila's storyline! Can't wait to see it played out ;-)

Ridge is really bordering on the insane now! I really, really love the idea of him rebuilding his name and reputation, and yes, vendetta against Brooke and Rick, but now he will be completely ruining his brother Thorne and his dad ... and just so they can get rid of Brooke once and for all? I did not realize how upset he was at her, but I honestly like it, this way Brooke will finally end chasing after him, that was sooo annoying! It's good to see Ricky boy eat some dirt though. I guess Ridge can then have Thorne and his dad work for him at Spectra if they agree to do that, so that is some consolation. We'll see!!
I was sad that Brooke told Whip that her future did not include him. That man might have started with his own agenda, but I honestly believe he does care about Brooke and wanted to make her happy. I really like his character too and I hope they do not truly get rid of him!

Three cheers for Bridget in handling her mother and CJ! And if anyone had any doubts that Stephanie was/is a good mom, look how she is with her mortal enemy because of the baby's and Bridget's sake... awww... BTW, that baby is not 2 days old, more like 3 months, LOL. I wonder what's going to happen to Deacon now, he and all his black clothes... the few he has left since Bridget burned all! I read somewhere that he's going to disappear for a while and then come back.. who knows!
Rick and Amber still act like little kids that have too much power and too little experience, and not only that, they show no respect for their father or older siblings. Ridge holds the cards now, and it's really FUN to watch! I really like his new sleek 'look', Mafia like, ha ha. Ron Moss is 50 years old and looks terrific!

Oh boy, I just loved Ridge today! Give it good to little boy Rick! I am actually quite surprised that Thorne did not see it coming-you would think his loyalties would lie with his brother rather than Brooke, but I guess we'll see... Yes, Ridge is being vindictive, so what? I love this story of revenge and business and bringing dignity back to the Forrester name! Quite a change from scandals and marriages, finally!!!

Drats, I missed the show yesterday when Bridget burns Deacon's clothes and declares her independence! That would have been fun. I know many fans are saying how annoyed they were of her innocence and naiveté, but I never minded that, it was a breath of fresh air. Too bad she had to grow out of it in such a horrible way. I hope the storyline will give her some coping and strength skills, which from the looks of it, she definitely will...
